Web16 dec. 2024 · So I’ve solved the problem! MK3.5 seats can be installed in a Mk3, and relatively easily as it turns out. The difference is that the newer mk3.5 seats take a resistor value between 1.2K Ω (coolest) and 10 Ω (warmest) to decide how warm to make the seat, and without this resistor the seat won’t turn on. Web16 okt. 2024 · The issue I am having is that I noticed that when I turn on to high the driver side heated seat it barely gets warm. When I do the same on the front passenger side it gets very hot to the touch. I checked the fuse and its fine and from what I gather if the fuse my broken both front seats would not heat at all.
