WebFeb 1, 2015 · chris142. You have to clean out the debris (i.e., leaves, etc.) from the outside of the core (i.e., the part that the fan blows across to get the air into your cabin). It's an easy job. Under the hood, you have to remove the battery and the ECM module and then the blower motor casing to get to it and clean it out. WebFeb 26, 2024 · get a chemical cooling system flush. maybe even several bottles. add the flush (some systems will take 2 bottles), top off with water. run the engine until the system is full. go for a 10-15 minute drive. let it cool, drain the system. refill with water, and possibly another bottle of flush, if its really bad.
