If you are shooting the recommended jacketed ammo there is little need to clean a Glock barrel after shooting a few hundred rounds. The barrel will not lead up. They do not have conventional rifling. Just run a clean patch through the barrel to take out any particles and carry on.

I don’t think paper towel was used in any of the above videos, but I always use “Blue Shop Towel” as well. The bottom one is how I learned to clean a Glock.
