With a solid story, satisfying gunplay, a great soundtrack, and a perfect use of the IP, Dark Forces deserves all of the praise it's been given over the years. WebDark Forces, Jedi Outcast, and Jedi Academy have all seen console releases on PS3 or PS4/Switch. Why is Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight (my personal favorite) and its expansion Mysteries of the Sith being left out? There's obviously a market for it and I've played it on PC with a controller before and there's no issue with button mapping.
