WebJan 2, 2024 · In my workplace, my Windows 10 machine has a letter-mapped network drive, which responds quickly when accessed using Windows Explorer. It responds extremely slowly, however, when it is accessed from cygwin, e.g., using mv / ls / find from the Bash command line or using the Vim netrw plugin for file system navigation.
